Went to my friend's parent's farm the other day. It was really cool!

- New character I created during a school workshop. Using her and two more for a shoty.

Yay, today we got to create a hypothetic game design from a weird... "dream" concept given to us at random. Our "dream" was to get into the figuer-skating Olympical league. We decided to make it a game aimed for little girls. As the art director I made some character designs:


Ehhh, lame, the boy's head's bigger than the girl's... I wasn't ready for making a male character tho; don't expect little girls to ever play with him anyway...

I finally got it dow this week! Damn this assignment I need to finish in the middle of the remaining 5 days of the open beta!! I WANNA PLAY NOW! Ah well... guess this motivates me to finish it quicker...

The game in itself feel really smooth and extremely pretty for being an MMO which, what I've seen, usually have overdesigned, far TOO colorful designs and cheap graphics. Then again, I'd never complain as long as Akihiko Yoshida made the designs!

I love how there's really cinematic cut scenes in the opening and the main quest. It really makes you/your character feel... special and COOL in an ironic way. Not quite sure if i should continue playing this though. Firstly it's my ecenomy, since I'm studying now I should concentrate my allowance around necessairities. Lastly it's the FACT that I'm studying; playing XIV is extremely distracting.

My life as a uni student've commenced! So far i really love it; the city I live in is so pretty, nice people and I've allready made lots of friends!
I'll post pictures later... been really hard to update since my internet connection's really bad for some reason.
Sharin' this doodle I did yesterday while trying to reconnect.

I went to Stockholm yesterday, I've done it many times lately... But hey, it's my city of birth after all, even though I was raised elsewhere from the age of 3.
This time I went to take my pictures down from the science-fiction book store. I Also met up with a pal and went around Gamla Stan (old city district). Found a great Japanese resturant named Shogun. It was so damned cooL!! It had a REAL Samurai armor greeting the guests (in a monter of course)! And the food was really delicious and well priced too, really recomend it- LOOK FOR SHOGUN, CLOSE TO THE SUBWAY STATION OF GAMLA STAN IN STOCKHOLM!

After the meal we went around town.
Went past "Storkyrkan" (Great Church) where Princess Victoria married with Daniel Westling two months ago. The man behind the desk let us in for free, which was awesome.

My pal found lots of inspiration, as did I. Though I feel kinda creeped of churches like those since the floors are filled with graves.

Another funny thing that happened was when i got back to my home town; Apparently I had been riding the same train as the party leader of the Social Democratic council party, Mona Sahlin!


Here she is greeting one of the kids in the welcome comitee that were standing by the foot of the stairs. Sadly she just snuck behind that girl as I shot the pic.

Things turned around! I'm off to the University of Gotland this term!! (Game design and graphics course.)
I got the news just three/two days ago, though most stuff that are needed to be taken care of are under control so I'm probably all set to go.

Oh, on another note; this weekend is the last chance to see the exibition I've up at the Science-fiction store in Stockholm. I'll be talking them down on monday, thank you everyone who gave it a visit!

Went this week end to Meuwcon in Stockholm, a manga/anime/game/cosplay convention. I'm writing a longer entry about it for Ikikata.se, so I'll just post some pictures here till then.

I just found out the music from this game is delicious! I have to share it with you~

I tried out a new tecnique in PS today, starting with shading with grayscales-



And then creating an illuminating shade to the image by using an Overlay-layer+Multiply for base colors above. The result is show bellow.



The result is material with the same quality (if not better) than I'd do before with Normal-layers three times quicker! I really feel like I want to develop this further!

The sun finally got back.

Doodling is the artist's answer to lifting weights for exercize. Since there's so little things to do of late I've been doodling a lot..
